Original stubs remaining, some with prescription information written in pencil. Staining on cover and end pages, prescription pages are clean and bright with no writing.
The National Prohibition Act allowed for doctors to write prescriptions for up to a pint of alcohol to treat certain ‘maladies’ during the prohibition era.
