5 Beekman St. “Temple Court” Manhattan: E. Belcher Hyde 1908. Contains double page plates 2; 4-49; Missing plates 1 & 3. 27 ¾” x 20”. Bound in cloth with leather spine and edges that have deteriorated. Brown leather labels that have faded and are delicate to touch. Updates have been made to maps until 1911, includes additions to blocks with corrected outlines. Pencil markings and notations throughout maps. Some marks from leather labels and paperclips on edges. The pages are bright and clean. Very good condition.

Beautiful atlas that was most likely originally used as a fire insurance map. This atlas has a log on the inner front cover that notes it was updated every month until 1911. A correction service would update the atlas to ensure they were accurate and reflected the latest land and building developments.
