New York: J.H. Colton. 1865. 11 ¼” x 10”. Missing half of spine. Discoloring and chipping to boards. Complete. Pages generally bright and clean with some minor staining and tears on edges. Missouri map almost detached. Overall good to very good condition.
California map is a double page map. David Rumsey collection describes this as “normally has 47 maps. These are the same maps that are used in Colton's Octavo Atlas of the World, but in quarto, unfolded.” Contains an early map of Montana.
